Cadent Gas Modular Office Installation
Another sizable undertaking from our partnership with Cadent Gas, this one on the outskirts of Crewe. We were requested to completely demolish and cart away the two ancient existing modular buildings and replace the same with a stunning single entity that will last for decades, whilst also reflecting their impressive growth in the Energy Sector.
Overall cost: £298,000
Location: Crewe
What we did
One of the largest challenges upon this Site was that we had to work around the incumbent ‘Cadent’ workforce throughout, so a well engineered programme was formulated by Jennor to ensure minimum disruption by decanting staff around our works, which worked wonderfully well.
We started with a demolition of the existing building and full site clearance before installing new concrete foundations. We then installed the modular shell building and did a full internal fit-out including suspended ceilings, LED lighting and new furniture. We also included a new toilet block, new staff kitchen. Externally we included large steel access ramp, created a new car park and installed an ANPR licence plate reader, HD cameras and a CCTV system.
The Result
Whilst this project was quite similar to one of the previous projects we’ve completed for Cadent Gas in Warrington, it never ceases to amaze what can be achieved with these new Modular Buildings.
Whilst the external appearance of this new building could be described as a touch uninspiring, the photos of the internal fit-out could be taken from any Commercial Office in one of our major cities. Its no surprise our partnership grows from strength to strength when we continue to deliver projects of such quality, time and time again.
